Beyond business, JP’s passion for music and all things creative has been at the heart of his success. While growing his companies and raising a family, he never strayed from his love of songwriting, performing, and recording original music. Following the successful exit from his technology ventures, he dove headfirst into his passion, dedicating himself fully to the craft of music.

As the creative force behind Cacophony, JP provides the vision and leadership that shape its mission. As Chief Executive Officer, he is committed to building a thriving community where artists can create, collaborate, and share their music with the world.

A distinguished music industry professional with over three decades of experience, recognized for his work with an impressive roster of renowned artists, songwriters, and producers. Randy began his music publishing career in 1988 at EMI Music Publishing. after a chance encounter with a friend in Capitol Records’ A&R department.

Having spent years playing guitar, singing, and writing songs in his own bands, Randy started from the ground up, quickly discovering a passion for music publishing, the power of songs, and the excitement of collaborating with songwriters and artists. Over the next three decades, he advanced through various prestigious companies, including PolyGram/Universal, Warner/Chappell, Epic Records, and Dimensional Music Publishing, before founding his own boutique music company, Sabco Music.

Throughout his career, Randy has worked with and signed artists and songwriters including Gavin DeGraw, Lifehouse, The Lumineers, Shaggy, Fuel, Sevendust, Vertical Horizon, Chevelle, Megadeth, Quicksand, Rival Schools, Nine Days, Monster Magnet, Evanescence, Seether, and Skid Row.

He has also signed writer/producers whose work has been recorded by Panic! At The Disco, Justin Bieber, Boys Like Girls, Def Leppard, and Train.
